Having a trade background meant that the client could add value (and equity) relatively quickly and easily through a cosmetic renovation. Being in the trade, the client worked most Saturdays and so decided to employ the services of a reputable buyers agent to source the property.
Within 2 weeks of issuing the client’s property brief to targeted sales agents, we were advised of an off market opportunity in North Bondi which met the brief.
Due to our strong relationship with the sales agent, we were able to view the property before anyone else. Following the inspection, a strong offer was made and the proeprty was acquired within 48 hours and under the client’s budget.
The client is extremely happy with the purchase and will shortly commence the renovation project with the aim of manufacturing an additional $100,000 of equity in the property.
